It is the 350th year of Shri Shivaji Maharaja’s Rajyabhishek. This historical event was celebrated with great zeal at Raigad on 6th June 1674. These golden moments of the installation of the Hindavi Swaraj are enshrined in Bharat’s history. To mark this 350th year of Rajyabhishek, we have organised “Shivotsav”, the mega competition which aims for mass Participation.

 

Theme: Chhatrapati Shri Shivaji Maharaj 

       The Participants are encouraged to explore various aspects of Chhatrapati Shri Shivaji Maharaja’s life, such as his military genius, administrative reforms, diplomatic prowess, cultural contributions, etc., by delving deep into the pages of history and bring out how Chhatrapati Shri Shivaji Maharaja transformed a tiny principality into a formidable empire, all while upholding the values of bravery, justice, and good governance.

          In your Photography, you can reflect on Chhatrapati Shri Shivaji Maharaja’s enduring impact on the socio-political landscape of Bharat, his commitment to religious tolerance and his vision for a just and prosperous kingdom. By participating in this competition, you will have the opportunity to know better the fascinating world of Chhatrapati Shri Shivaji Maharaja, learn from his leadership qualities and draw inspiration from his unwavering dedication to his people.

Rules and Regulations

  1. The competition is open to Students and Professionals.
  2. Each participant can submit a minimum of one and a maximum of any number of Photographs. But In case of more than one Photograph, the participants will have to register for each Photograph separately.
  3. The Last date for uploading Photographs is31st March 2024. The Photographs should be uploaded by this date on the organisation’s website. Photographs submitted later than this date will not be accepted.
  4. The participation fee should be deposited online. Paid fee will not be refunded under any circumstances. If more than one reel is to be submitted, the fee shall be paid for each additional Photograph.
  5. Qualified entries in the preliminary round are available for voting at the website www.rfbharat.com.
  6. The Photography will be evaluated by considering the number of likes received online and the marks of the distinguished judges.
  7. The decision of the judges shall be final and binding on every competitor. No correspondence or discussion will be entertained in this regard.
  8. The Certificate of Participation will be emailed to everyone participating in the competition.
  9. The contestants will be fully responsible for all the Creative work in the submitted Photographs and any objections raised. The organising body shall not be liable for any objection arising from direct or indirect content published therein.
  10. The entry fee will not be refunded to the contestant participating in the competition under any circumstances.
  11. The Organizer reserves the right to change the terms and conditions and the competition date in whole or in part.
  12. For group 1, attach proof of school studying in that class.
  13. All participants should send the Photographs of their original work in the Maximum size of 5’*4’.
  14. The jury will make the Primary selection based on the Photographs only.
  15. The artists whose works are selected will be informed to send their original work. i.e. fibre or any related to the subject, if they so desire without framing by postal or parcel & the organisation will frame the selected entries free of charge.
  16.  The selection and judging committee is free to withhold any number of awards if they do not find entries up to the mark for the awards.
  17. The organisation will negotiate all sales and will retain 25% on all sales for the Organization. The balance of 75% will be paid to the participants.
  18. Authentication Certificate has to be signed by the artist for the buyer. For better sales, the participants are requested to price their exhibits reasonably.
  19. Local Participants are requested to take back their works within 10 days after the closing of the exhibition. Outstation Participants should either arrange to take back their creatives in person or request the organisation to deliver their works through courier. For this service, they have to pay the charges to the courier. However, if the participants fail to collect creatives within 10 days from the close of the exhibition. In that case, the organisation will have the right to dispose of the exhibit however it deems fit. Participants will have no claim against the Organization.
  20. All original exhibits must have a label pasted on the exhibit. The label is attached to the prospectus.
  21. Each exhibitor is required to send brief Bio-data of 200 words or more and a passport-size photo.  
  22. Failure to comply with any of the rules laid down in the prospectus may cause rejection of exhibits.
  23. Submission of the schedule will imply acceptance of all the rules and regulations stated above.
